Lorena Canals, a global brand that has been designing rugs for more than 25 years, has introduced a new home collection called Handloom Legacy.

According to the company, the collection showcases the slow, handcrafted process of handloom weaving, a centuries-old tradition passed down through generations. Each piece is a unique creation that blends tradition with modern living, representing quality, durability and a rich story woven into every thread.

Rugs shown in natural, beige, ochre and khaki.

The collection includes 100% made by the brand’s artisans at the company’s factory.

“This ensures complete control over the handcrafted process, with custom patterns and unique textures that machines simply cannot replicate. Our artisans are not just artisans; they are custodians of a centuries-old tradition, passed down through generations,” said a company representative.

This technique creates a distinct texture with natural variations, enhancing both depth and durability while preserving the inherent beauty of the materials. It strikes the perfect balance between quality, durability and heritage, reinterpreted for contemporary living.

The company’s handloom rugs are made using premium natural cotton, providing a soft texture, durability and a timeless aesthetic. They are crafted with a tight weave, ensuring they shed very little, if at all.

The unique cotton rugs can take days to complete, depending on the size of the rug. Each rug of this collection is signed by several crosses handcrafting the letter L, adding a distinctive artisanal touch.  Available colorways include natural, beige, ochre and khaki.
