DALLAS – As part of its ongoing efforts to remain transparent and responsive to the evolving trend landscape, Cyan Design said it has conducted a thorough price evaluation following the recent pause in certain tariffs.
“We implemented two price increases earlier this year in response to rising tariffs—10% in March and another 10% in early May,” said Jose Lopez, Cyan Design president. “However, with the recent pause in tariff activity, we’ve taken the opportunity to reevaluate our pricing structure and make downward adjustments where appropriate.”
While they are still managing a 30% increase in costs due to ongoing tariffs, stemming from reciprocal measures and those related to the fentanyl tariff in addition to existing tariffs implemented during the previous administration, the company announced price decreases across its product range.
“In parallel, we’ve been actively working to diversify our product development across multiple countries,” Lopez added. “Like many others, we remain committed to closely analyzing market conditions to ensure we continue offering competitive pricing and high-quality products. Our goal is to remain a trusted and valued brand for our customers.”
Existing orders and back-orders currently in the system will not be subject to this adjustment and ongoing quotes will be reviewed and adjusted to reflect the new pricing accordingly. According to Lopez, the company will continue to evaluate pricing should additional tariff relief occur.
