MUMBAI – Multi-category home furnishings expo HGH India opened its doors on July 1 with more than 700 exhibitors.

The 17th edition of the show is taking place at the Bombay Exhibition Centre through July 4. It features producers of home textiles, décor, , houseware, and gifts. Exhibitors include Indian companies along with international brands from 32 countries.

The bi-annual show brings together more than 45,000 trade buyers from 650 cities and 33 countries.

This expo’s highlights include:

  • The Green Shift & Pavilion: Eco-conscious innovations, from biodegradable tableware to organically dyed textiles.
  • Trends 2025-26 Pavilion: A showcase of the latest design directions under the theme “Emotion in Motion.”
  • Gen Next Retail Leaders Forum: Spotlighting 10 under 30-year-olds changemakers shaping the future of Indian homes.
  • H-Circle Awards: Celebrating innovative , functionality, and sustainability.
  • Indian Heritage Pavilion: Bridging traditional crafts with contemporary retail.

The opening ceremony’s chief guest was Dr. M. Beena, IAS, Development Commissioner for Handlooms for the Indian government’s Ministry of Textiles. The guest of honor was Ketan Sheth, Chairman of the Institute of Indian Interior Designers. Special guests included K N Srikanth, director, Home & Kitchen, Amazon India; architects Dilip Parmar, Alpa Shikre and Hemanti Sutaria as well as interior designer Akif Habib.
