DALLAS — With an eye on the matches scheduled to take place in North Texas this summer, has expanded its partnerships with more than a dozen hotels in its immediate area to support buyers and exhibitors attending its markets in June.

Hotel rooms will be available at typical market rates, the market center said, but can only be booked through Dallas Market Center’s travel service.

The soccer matches will be held more than 20 miles away from the market center, and only a limited number overlap June Market dates. While regional hotel demand will be higher in June, according to DMC, citing a report from a major U.S. hotel group, “the city of Dallas ranks lowest among World Cup host cities for expected demand and hotel sell-outs.”

“We anticipated increased attention on hotel availability this June and took early action by securing strong at competitive rates,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “These accommodations are available exclusively when booking through Dallas Market Center’s official housing partner and can scale up to meet increasing demand.”

As demand builds and inventory sells, Dallas Market Center has the capability to add additional room blocks, DMC said.

It has launched an outreach campaign to its customers across digital platforms, email communications, social media, phone outreach, printed materials, and on-campus messaging.

Dallas Market Center will host the Dallas Apparel & Accessories Market, June 16–19, followed by Dallas Total Home & Gift Market and , June 24–30, and Lightovation, June 24–27.
