DALLAS – Dallas Market Center will add new showrooms to its interior Home + Design Center (IHDC) to accommodate more than 100 brands. All the brands are expected to move into their spaces on the first and second floors of the IHDC building in the first half of 2026.
This is the largest project for the development of new showrooms inside Dallas Market Center in more than a decade. Construction has already begun on the first showroom, C. Maddox & Co., which represents more than 30 home furnishings brands. A custom 40,000-square-foot flagship showroom on the second floor is expected to open in the spring.
Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center, said the new showrooms underscore the commitment to the business of home décor. “These respected brands benefit from the steady traffic of an open-daily design center plus our market-time traffic throughout the year,” Morris said. “As companies consider where to expand their business to reach more designers and retailers, the demand for permanent showroom space is at a premium. At the same time, our temporary tradeshow business continues to expand, and we will utilize the 9th floor for trade events throughout the year including ones serving the design trade.”

C. Maddox & Co., previously located on the 9th floor, will be followed by additional showrooms relocating from that floor, which will become flexible tradeshow space for events throughout the year.
These companies will be joined by exhibitors joining the marketplace from outside Dallas Market Center. Brands represented by C Maddox & Co. include Caracole, CR Laine, Hancock and Moore, John Richard, Made Goods, Modern History, Taracea, Vanguard Furniture, Wesley Hall Upholstery and others.
This 2026 initiative follows the 2016 renovation and re-branding of the building as the Interior Home + Design Center. Today, the building features open-daily corporate showrooms from brands such as Visual Comfort, Currey & Co., Surya, Palecek, Global Views, Uttermost, Unique Loom and American Leather, along with multi-brand showrooms such as Coco & Dash (representing Chaddock Furniture, J Wilkinson Chair, Coco & Dash Heritage, Matouk and others) and MC Studio (representing Bernhardt Interiors, Norwalk Furniture, Fabricut, Tomlinson, Vahallan, Ann Gish, Regina Andrew Detroit and others).
The nearby, shared showroom The Gallery represents more than a dozen home décor companies including Port 68, Alicia Adams Alpaca and Amity Home, and the newly opened Textile Salon represents fabrics, window coverings, rugs, pillows, wallpapers and surfaces including Kravet, English Village Lane, Prince of Scots.
Showrooms across three Dallas Market Center buildings — The Interior Home + Design Center, the World Trade Center and the Trade Mart — currently serve buyers each month. In addition, Dallas Market Center hosts design events throughout the year in partnership with organizations including ASID (American Society of Interior Design), TAID (Texas Assn. of Interior Design) and the Interior Design Society.
