Under the general partnership Connexion Capitale, the two will leverage their respective expertise in rail systems integration, signalling, communications, electrification and major project delivery, explains a release.
The scope of the project includes the integration and implementation of rail systems and technologies, oversight for the testing and commissioning of the network and long-term maintenance.
The contract is being delivered under a progressive design build model.
“This approach builds on AtkinsRéalis’ experience delivering complex rail and transit projects through collaborative delivery models, where early alignment and integration are critical to long‑term performance,” the release adds.
Projet TramCité is a 19 kilometre urban tramway network in Québec City. The project is jointly led by the Government of Québec, the City of Québec and CDPQ Infra, with financial support from the Government of Canada.
